8. Vulnerable Villagers
There are people in nay village , who in an emergency, should be considered as potentially vulnerable and a priority for support and deployment of resources, these include
• The elderly who may not be mobile
• Those with disabilities- hearing, sight, physical, mobility
• Those with learning difficulties and impacted by mental health
• Those living alone
• Parents and others looking after very young children
• Pregnant women
• Those with existing commitments that may become unmanageable in an emergency
• Other?
Good neighbours generally are aware of these needs and would respond naturally.
However it is important to note that people may become vulnerable at any point and under different circumstances
